This isn't exactly my best angle—just a snapshot from yesterday (Sunday). My girl Anita dropped by, and I thought a cozy nap on her lap would be perfect, but then Emma had to snap a pic. Seriously, Anita looks fab, but Emma called my name and woke me up! Totally not ready for my close-up!

Earlier that day, a book—like, almost as heavy as I am—fell right on me while I was snoozing on the sofa. Emma was like, "I couldn't see you under the blanket," but come on, am I not always snuggled up in blankets? Get with it, Emma! And just to spice things up, this chaos didn’t even happen on a sunny day in California.

Today marks the first Monday of Emma's summer break. What shenanigans does she have planned for me? Maybe she’ll accidentally lock me in a room or forget to change my diaper. Or maybe I’ll get dragged out for a walk in the rain. The endless “fun” that awaits me is beyond comprehension—and not in a good way!
