The standards here are dropping..

What can I even say about yesterday? We took a chill stroll, and let me tell you, I was the star of the show, as always. People were stopping us, asking what breed I am, and some were all about my size. Seriously, get a grip! So what if we look different? Get over it! A kid asked, “Why is he so small? Will he ever grow?”

Who knew the great outdoors could smell like a weird combo of gasoline from the cars, sweet bird songs, and a not-so-subtle reminder that we’re nowhere near a beach—thanks, Indiana!

Kelly and Carmon decided to bless us with their presence and spent the morning lounging in our backyard, soaking up all the suburban vibes. It’s like a symphony of suburbia out here!

Emma's all set to meet Jenny for lunch at 11:45. Fingers crossed they have a fabulous time! I mean, who wouldn’t love chatting about life over a plate of mediocre salad? Meanwhile, I might just get another chance for a walk when she gets back, but Chewy seems to be in a bit of a funk this morning. Honestly, if he could talk, I bet he’d be demanding room service and a spa day. Did you know California hotels are known for their over-the-top amenities?

But I digress. Here’s hoping Chewy perks up soon and Emma gets a clue so we can get back to my outdoor sniffing adventures!

Oh, and can you believe Emma didn’t even take Chewy to the Three Dog Bakery for his birthday yesterday? Standards are dropping fast around here. Or maybe precariously? Whatever. I’m not a poet!
