Choose Happy, Always

Choose Happiness, Always

Good morning, friends and fans. I’m running at about 80% energy today—Emma stayed up too late again (classic), so we’re both dragging our paws a little. But when the alarm went off, I barked right on cue like the dependable little guy I am. And hey, no crate accidents this time—credit where credit’s due!

Yesterday was full of highs and sniffs. Emma went to this dreamy place called Wolfie’s Grill . She said it was right on the water, all fancy-like, and she had a hamburger and fries. She was hoping for salmon Caesar salad (which sounds fancy and a little fishy—yum), but they didn’t have it. I'm just saying, if I’d been there, I’d have helped clean up that burger real quick.

Now, here's the real headline: Emma brought me home a new shirt! And not just any shirt. This baby is tie-dyed in swirls of pink, blue, yellow, and green, and it says “CHOOSE HAPPy” in bold letters right across my back. It’s basically my whole life philosophy wrapped in cozy cotton. I jumped up and down when she held it up, and then I struck my best “Peanut for President” pose for a photo shoot. Honestly, I might start charging for these looks. I felt warm and fabulous.

Later in the day, we went for a walk (shirtless—it was HOT), and then I supervised some serious gardening. Emma’s got plans, let me tell you. She moved some pink day lilies, laid mulch, and talked about trimming trees and poking holes in fences to let the sunlight in. Personally, I think the yard is perfect as long as I have a sunny spot and some squirrels to scold. But Emma’s got big dreams and a new chainsaw, so we’ll see where this goes.

Oh, and speaking of the chainsaw—it arrived yesterday. She’s excited. I’m… reserving judgment. So far it hasn’t been noisy, and I haven’t lost any tail fur, so we’re good.

She’s planning on a quiet July 3rd and 4th—maybe Judy will come over, maybe it’ll just be us. I’m good either way. A chill weekend with a lap to sit on, my "Choose Happiness" shirt, and the sound of birds in the garden? That’s living the dream.
